Internet Explorer 7
Command-line Parameters
IE7 comes with some new command-line parameters and has lost a few. Here's a short overview over the ones I know of:
- none: OpenHomePage as default action
- -new (new process, default anyway)
- -k (kiosk mode)
- -nohome (nohome in tab, navigation cut off)
- -extoff (with Add-Ons shut off)
- -restart (?)
- -brokerredirect (?)
- -embedding (no window)
- -url "item" does a search for "item" with the default search provider
- "URL" opens URL
- "about:blank" - alternative to -nohome with better behavior
- -slf
- -channelband
Just found a somewhat longer explanation in PeteL's Blog.
